We are now appealing for someone who could transport him to his new home, we are trying to raise some money to pay for the diesel involved.

RHU Walk For Animals

The RHU Walk For Animals is something that as a forum we plan to help as many animal rescues and charities as possible, whilst advertising and promoting RHU at the same time.

What exactly is it?

RHU Walk For Animals is going to hopefully be a yearly event that people from John o'Groats to Lands End walk/cycle/ride/jog and cover the 875+ miles. Each person who participates MUST have an animal in tow. Whether people ...

Max collapsed in his paddock last night. We called the vet and was with hime for 4 hours till the vet put him down where he lay. It took 5 of us to try and get him up to his feet and he wouldn't even bring his legs under him.

It started to rain as he put the needle in and he died at 9 o'clock.

Hope your at peace Max

Hi there,

I desperately need to find my grey 14yr 14hh connemara gelding a new home due to the iminent arrival of my second baby. He is only suitable for hacking due to a leg injury a few years ago. He has great character once he gets to know you and will live in or out. He is a good doer and very clean in the stable so is fairly cheap to keep. Homes will be vetted as he will be sadly missed. Get in touch if you feel you can offer him a home.
